Choosing the Right Decking Material
Our Recommendation
Composite Decking
Low maintenance and built to last. Composite decking resists moisture, rot, and insects and is warrantied against fading for 25+ years.
Tradeoff: Higher upfront cost than wood, but far less maintenance over time.

Premium Option
PVC Decking
Fully synthetic decking that absorbs very little moisture. PVC decking boasts the longest lifespan and is ideal for covered decks or damp climates.
Tradeoff: Higher cost, but maximum durability and minimal maintenance.

Available
Natural Wood Decking
The classic deck material with a natural look and lower upfront cost.
Tradeoff: Requires regular staining and sealing to prevent weathering and rot.
A Design That Works with Your Space
A deck functions best as a part of a larger outdoor plan.
Instead of building a standalone structure, we look at how the deck connects with the rest of your yard. The result is an outdoor space that feels cohesive and natural.
The Deck
The centerpiece of your outdoor living space. Designed for your yard, your house, and the way you actually use the space.
The Railing
Elevated decks require railings for safety and code compliance. We install railing systems that complement your home and deck design.
Under-Deck Drainage
If your deck is elevated, drainage systems can keep the space underneath dry and usable for storage.
Integrated Lighting
Subtle lighting along stairs, railings, and edges can be a great addition and adds both safety and atmosphere once the sun goes down.
Patio Covers
Shade structures and patio covers extend the life of your deck and provide shelter so you can enjoy it through more seasons.
Deck Resurfacing & Redecking
In many cases, the structure of a deck can still be solid even when the boards are worn out.
If the existing frame is in good condition, we can remove the old boards and install new composite or PVC decking without rebuilding the entire structure. This process can dramatically improve the look and lifespan of your deck at a lower cost than full replacement.
We inspect the framing during the site consultation to determine if resurfacing is a safe and viable option.

Our Deck Building Process
We visit your property, take measurements, and discuss how you want to use the space. Your deck is designed in 3D so you can see the layout and materials before construction begins.
Decks often require structural engineering and city approval. We prepare the plans, submit them to the city or county, and handle HOA approvals as required. You don’t have to deal with the paperwork or the back-and-forth.
Your deck is built to meet local building codes with poured, rebar-reinforced concrete footings and quality materials. Our team keeps the jobsite clean and organized throughout construction.
Once the project is complete, we walk through the finished deck with you to make sure everything meets expectations before we call the job done.
